Precise insulin administrationPatients can accurately control insulin administration by operating remote control.

“iCURADRIVE” is our unique technology that combines a smaller pump with precise delivery by 0.5 μL/h.
It controls accurate insulin administration.

  • It has adopted the same small motor drive principle as that used for digital cameras.

  • A dose can be precisely controlled per rotation angle according to the pulse signal.

  • The unique design enabled driving of the motor with the button battery, which contributed to the decrease in the pump size.

Various settings to support treatment tailored to the patient’s life

Dosing rate patterns can be set according to the patient’s activity levels

  • Patients can program up to three basal rates, according to their daily life patterns such as a workday/holiday, exercise, sick day, etc.

  • It allows patients to increase the dose by 0.05 U/h, and each pattern can be set by 30 minutes within 24 hours.

  • If temporary adjustment is necessary, for example for exercise, it can be set in “administration ratio (%)” or “administration rate (U/h).”

Select a bolus delivery mode according to the patient’s meals

Select from four modes of “Quick,” “Normal,” “Combination,” and “Long” according to the contents of meals.
It is equipped with a “bolus calculation function,” which can calculate an estimated bolus dose from the blood glucose level and carbs from a meal.

Bolus calculation function

Insulin dose is calculated by entering blood glucose level before a meal and carbs

  • 1

Enter the blood glucose before a meal

  • 2

    Enter carbs

  • 3

    Insulin dose is calculated

Calculation results are examples
Setting: Carb ratio 10 g/u, insulin sensitivity factor 50 mg/dL/U
When the blood glucose target is 90-120 mg/dL

“Alert function” and “alarm function” for patient safety

  • An alert function (low emergency) and an alarm function (high emergency) are equipped to inform patients of trouble and how to deal with it.

  • It also has a convenient anti lost alarm function, which informs patients when the distance between the pump and remote control exceeds 1.5 meters.

  • An alert can be set at designated intervals according to the patient’s life style.
